Reward Amounts?
Crime Stoppers Turks & Caicos will pay a reward OF UP TO A MAXIMUM OF $2,000.00 per TIP that leads to the arrest and charge of a person (s) who have committed a criminal offence.
Any person who phones 1-800-8477, submits a Web TIP online or a Facebook tip and gives information that leads to the arrest and charge of an offender for any criminal offence in the Turks & Caicos Islands.

This TIPSTER must be able to provide the confidential code name or number given when they called our TIPS number or submitted a web TIP online anonymously.
Multiple TIPS about the same crime?
If two or more persons provide information about the same crime, the distribution of the reward money will be decided by our Board of Directors. The Board will consider information provided by the Police Coordinator to determine the distribution of the reward.
Information given directly to the Police or others?
Rewards will only be paid out for TIPS that are received anonymously on our TIPS line, by a web TIP online or a Facebook tip, not if provided directly to the Police or another official.
Rewards approval process?
  1. The Board of Directors shall decide the amount of all awards at their Board meeting normally held each month.
  2. Reward amounts will not be quoted prior to a TIP being received and the Police Coordinator has advised the Board of Directors that it led to an arrest.
  3. Once a reward has been approved Crime Stoppers overseas is informed. It will be available for the TIPSTER to collect for up to six months (180 days) from that Board meeting. If it is not collected by then it will revert to Crime Stoppers Turks & Caicos.
  4. Should a TIPSTER try to collect that reward after that six month period, Crime Stoppers overseas will advise the TIPSTER that their request will be considered at the next Board meeting.
How are rewards paid?
  1. Rewards are paid in the Turks & Caicos Islands in cash, by cheque or in any manner the Board decides is reasonable. This could include by mail to a P.O. Box, deposited in a bank account or left with the pastor of your Church or with your doctor.
  2. Any deviation from these procedures, such as sending the reward overseas, must be approved by the Board prior to payment.
